I am grateful for my husband cooking a wonderful breakfast for dinner last night. It was delicious and I got to eat right away because he took Ryan. How awesome!

Thoughts

"When you have control over your thoughts, you will have control over your life."

I have been trying to control my thoughts and have been successful at it to this point. When something negative pops into my head, I focus on something positive. To be quite honest, I haven't had to redirect my thoughts much since I began this blog. Perhaps positive thinking really does attract the positive into your life.

I am grateful that Jimmy is so sweet and got me a chocolate milk while he was out getting cigarettes this morning.

I am so grateful for my husband who really stepped up the last 3 days. He is a wonderful father and has been a great help. Today he woke up several times with Ryan, kept him all day, fed him, played with him, comforted him and tried to rock him to sleep to a Dr Seuss story. He also helped me get him ready for a bath and ensured his medicine went down.

He is so patient, loving, and kind. I just love my husband to death. I have a good man in my life.

I am loving this beautiful weather we have been having.

I appreciate my dog for another enjoyable walk.

Even though he didnt go to bed until late and woke up 2 times between 1 and 5, jimmy was still positive and happy, pleasant to be around. I want to be able to do that. I WILL do that.

I appreciate jimmy for taking care of the screaming baby at 10:45 so I could get sleep

Thank you to my husband. He made dinner and stayed home with a sick baby. He is patient and loving. He is a really great father.

Live in the Moment

Nothing is more rewarding than the unconditional love from the family dog. I hope that I can be as pure-hearted as he is one day. I want to see the good in everything and be grateful for the little things. I want to be able to live in the now.

I am thankful that Jimmy stayed home with the baby so I didn't have to use my leave. I'm also grateful that I have a husband that earns so much leave and is able to save it for times like these.

I'm grateful to my dog for an enjoyable walk this evening. I appreciate Jimmy for keeping the baby occupied, even though he was working on creating weather widgets on the computer, so I could take the dog out. Without him, I wouldn't have been able to walk Rick.

I am thankful for having a husband that will go places with me instead of sitting at home. Today he helped me take Ricky Bobby and Ryan to the dog park. If he had not gone, Ryan would not have been able to go.
